Frequently asked questions

What music do you play?

Only jazz. Most of it is from the 1950s and 60s, and all of it is played on LP.

Why only jazz from the 1950s and 60s?

The 1950s and 60s were the golden age of jazz, when Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans and Sonny Rollins recorded the albums still loved today, and the LP became the standard format. This music was made to be heard on LP, so we play it on LP through JBL speakers from the same era.

How many people can come together?

Up to four per group. It is a small room and not suited to large groups.

What drinks do you have?

Whisky, cocktails and wine. There is no kitchen, so there are no meals, only small dishes to go with your drink.

Do you have non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes, we have two non-alcoholic cocktails.

How big is the bar?

A cozy room of about 14 pyeong (46 m²).

Do you host events?

Now and then we hold listening sessions and other events. Dates are posted on Instagram @staticvinyls.
